"Can't Say You Know Me Too Well" showcases a more stripped production, drawing more attention to each distinct track. To complement the song's drinking/glassware lyrical analogy, I sampled three sounds of glassware (placing glass down on the table, flicking top of the glass, and glass sliding across a table) and tuned the samples to the key of the song using Logic's Drum Machine Designer. Rather than incorporating a typical drum kit, I created a percussive beat using my glassware samples.
